Support For Bone Marrow Transplant Programs

Comprehensive support to government and charitable bone marrow transplant programs is being provided at centres across the country enabling children from all backgrounds to get access to quality care. We have collaborated with the following partner institutions to deliver this care

              1. Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Kailash Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Goraj

              2. Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital, Indore.

The Centre of Excellence for Rare Diseases at Indira Gandhi Institute Of Child Health (IGICH), Bangalore has setup a new fetal medicine unit in order to screen pregnant mothers from previously affected families. The unit offers antenatal scan, fetus screening, counselling for these families so that they can make an informed decision about the unborn child. Bal Ayush Foundation has partnered with IGICH for the centre's operations.

This unique initiative is the first of it's kind in the public healthcare system in Karnataka.

In association with Ramakrishna CARE Hospitals, we are establishing a Pediatric Hematology Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Raipur. While the program has already started, a new 4 bedded BMT unit is expected to come live in April 2026. This will serve as a boon to several patients from the eastern belt for whom BMT is an indication, but cannot unfortunately manage to travel to larger cities in the South, West and Northern belts of India
